Position Summary:

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Colorado College announces a one-year, non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Computer Science position to begin in August 2018, contingent upon final approval of funding. Visiting appointments may be renewed annually, depending on staffing needs and overall performance, resulting in a maximum possible term at the college of four years. We will consider candidates in any area of computer science. Applicants must be able to teach a wide range of courses across the department’s computer science curriculum.

Colorado College is a leading national liberal arts college with a distinctive academic calendar called the Block Plan, in which students take one course at a time. The teaching load for this position will consist of five regular courses per year, plus senior thesis supervision. The college supports active scholarship via travel to conferences and internal grant opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

A PhD in computer science or related field is strongly preferred, but ABD will be considered.
